In graduate school, I was involved in the DELTA program at the University of Wisconsin, an NSF-sponsered initiative to help train graduate students and post-docs to become better teachers. As part of this program, I designed instructional materials to help students improve their three-dimensional visualization skills collaborating with another geology graduate student, Sarah Titus.
